What we expect from you
We want to ensure that every trip to Woofs and Water is a memorable one, so getting as much information on your dog and its needs is essential Here are a few points we like to adhere to :-
HYDROTHERAPY / SWIMMING:
• Dogs should have eaten at least one hour before coming.
• Please ensure that your dog has had a toilet break before coming. We do not mind your dog using the grass area to relieve itself but please ensure that you clear it up yourself.
• Please ensure your dog’s fur is clean and has had a wash within the last 48 hours.
• You should always call when you arrive, do not ring the
doorbell as it disturbs the dogs on sight and we prefer to keep a calm atmosphere.
• If you are going to be late you need to call and let us know. If you are more than 15 minutes late we may need to rearrange your session.
• Please try to arrive 5-10 minutes early as this gives your dog time to relax and get used to the environment.
• For Hydrotherapy/Swim sessions please bring your own towels and toys. We do have tennis balls but your dog will be happier with its favourite toy.
MASSAGE / REIKI:
• It is important that your dog has had a walk to release energy.
• At the start of the session it is important to wait until your dog relaxes, so remaining quiet and talking in a low/quiet voice is essential during the healing session. This must be taken at your dogs own pace.
• We book one hour sessions to allow time for your dog to relax so that Wendy can conduct the sessions, which are for 45 minutes, however please allow 1 hour for your booking.
• Please bring anything that helps your dog relax, their favourite treat, toy or blanket would be perfect.
• Please feel free to bring a book or anything else that will help to occupy you whilst your dog is receiving treatment.
• You must inform us of any prior injuries, pain or treatment that your dog has had that may affect the session.
DOG DAYCARE / SITTING:
• We need at much information on your normal routine as possible to ensure that we provide your dog with the comforts they are used to at home. This includes providing their usual food and toys as well as their normal daily routine.
